Meet our team

Adrià Gallifa

With a decade of international experience in the automotive sector and high-energy physics, including roles at BOSCH, DELPHI, and CERN, Adrià is a seasoned industrial and materials engineer expert in mechanical testing, microscopy, metal sheet forming, and the metallurgy and characterization of special alloys. At CERN's HL-LHC project, he served as the material's expert for Crab Cavities project and the technical reference expert for pure niobium. He possesses extensive knowledge in diverse fabrication techniques, metrology, non-destructive testing (NDT), surface analysis, image analysis, and project management. His dedication to his work is complemented by his enthusiasm for team collaboration, giving him a well-rounded perspective on the projects he undertakes.

Fritz Motschmann

Fritz is a material science engineer with a large expertise in processing high tech materials and components. His working experience reaches from technical ceramics for industrial and aerospace applications at MT Aerospace (DE) to the fabrication of components of particle accelerators and detectors at CERN (CH) where he was the reference for vacuum brazing and heat treatments. Industrial partners keep on appreciating his support for processes and joining solutions for complex and demanding components.

Miguel Martínez, PhD

Miguel is a passionate materials engineer with a Ph.D. in applied engineering, specializing in materials treatment using lasers, particularly ultrafast lasers. He has over 10 years of extensive experience in micro and nano-structuring of material surfaces across the automotive, biomedicine, and photonics fields. In addition, he worked as laser scientist at CERN, where he developed and optimized laser technologies for particle accelerators. With a deep understanding of laser-material interactions, combined with his experience in integrating and customizing complex laser technologies, Miguel is well-equipped to explore new technical projects that merge laser technologies with materials engineering.

Technology – and thus, society – advances as materials do so.

Mastering the materials used in every product and project is strategic to long term success.
